As long as the OPEC cartel has control over supply we will see high prices. Of course, oil companies have no problem with this since their profits are based on the price we pay. The biggest factors that could change all this are fracking and the Keystone pipeline. You can bet the oil companies are fueling the propaganda against these consumer favorable changes. For similar reasons the big oil companies have been quietly funding the climate change scam.
