People left for Kevin's board before the clamp down. The clamp down came too late. That is why when political posts were deleted, there was no one left to fill the board up with Vegas posts in their place. Because the Vegas posters were already gone. See?

Just because YOU like the political talk, does not mean it is a good business model for a Las Vegas message board.

The idea that toxic, tiresome political threads attract readers to the LVA is comical.

You make it sound like I live for the pol. rhetoric, trust me my friend, I don't. I think you have me confused with others who do seem to live for them. I like to talk about all sorts of things and especially Vegas because it is my all time favorite vacation spot. As I said,I'm happy to contribute in any Vegas thread I have something useful to say whether it be from renting a scooter to turning your underage son into a gambling addict. Do I participate in the Pol.threads? well yes, I do and I thought I was pulling back because I hate that ya'll see my as an extreme right winger, because I'm really not(the comparison to DrM the other day was a huge wake up call, UGH!). I guess I did because I was always responding to forkie et. al.One thing I can guarantee is never get into extended playground pissing match with anyone adn I now let the antagonistic remarks slide off my back. What I used to find really irritating I now find funny and what I found to be just pure assholiness I now ignore.

BTW you have all of 4 posts why in the world are you singling me out? Not that I really give a ____,this is more to lurker and the forum, just askin'

One other thing, some left because Kevin said we could talk and not be treated like children(some others complaints) and he lived up to his word. He warned that one time when it got all heated while he was on vacation over a post made over here, but he never banned anything at least not then, I've only peeked over there and haven't kept up lately.

Because you keep posting that you don't think there should be so many off topic posts, yet you keep starting them. It annoys me. Just like when you post that you are against foul language, in threads you used foul language in.

You have the power to shape the discussion here to what you want it to be. If you start posting lots of Vegas Threads and then participating in other peoples threads soon the forum will be filled with Las Vegas content and you will hardly notice the political threads. Message Board content doesn't create itself someone has to start the conversation.

A few folks in this thread seem to want to talk about how upset they are about a lack of Vegas content, but when you look at their post count you see they hardly post anything here at all. If you can't bring yourself to participate in Vegas conversation how can you expect the people that are here to talk about only the things you want to hear?

For the record. I'm not singling you out because I don't think you're an extreme right winger or one of the main forces behind the political discussions. I think your contributions to this thread have been very modest and decent. Just so you know.....

DonDiego would like to see more threads discussing other threads, the topics of which should be prohibited.

You do not seem to care one bit about the fact that all your political talk doesn't belong on a Las Vegas forum (the past has shown that more than once). Why should I care about annoying you for starting one thread you don't care for? Current score in useless unrelated threads: DD 20+, LurkerPoster 1. You're way ahead of me sir.
