I thought it was a pretty straight answer. I dont cheer homicides in any context. But let me ask you a question, Jatki. What if Zimmerman is shot and killed by a black man next week who then uses the same self defense claim? Would you say race was not a factor? Would you say no arrest should be made? Would you say there should be no trial?

Oh you mean like this gun? This gun and this self picture were taken on Trayvon's phone camera. Now I know you believe that Trayvon is as innocent as the driven snow and that he can't be possibly smoking anything in that picture or that can't possibly be his gun, right?

Looks like a real gun to me, but it's probably a water pistol.
What appears to be blunt smoke, well I guess he may have accidentally walked through a group of cigarette smokers and inhaled by mistake.

So RM and treeguy think TM had a gun on him when he was shot to death? Interesting theory. Or are you suggesting that a picture of a gun is just as good?

And the picture with the smoke identified by treeguy as "blunt smoke" justifies being shot to death.

So what if he smoked pot? Does that qualify one as a street thug ? If so, you can assign about 1/2 of this years college graduates to that profile. And having a picture of a gun is scandalous but packing a real heat and playing Paul Blart in your neighborhood is A-OK. What if Martin had used that gun in the picture to kill an unarmed white dude walking through his neighborhood?

The Sean Hannity crowd (you know, the same people that keep insisting race was not an issue in this trial) keep trying to portray Martin as some sort of street gang member that had his death coming to him. Why not just let the facts of what happened that evening speak for themselves?

Seriously. Where did I say he had a gun on him? You have some serious reading comprehension problems. You make Trayvon out to be something just short of a choir boy. There are pictures of him giving gang signs, pictures of a gun he probably owned, and pictures of him toking on marijuana.

With everything being equal to waht we all know(or don't know) that occurred between TM and GZ, I would say race would definitely not be a factor(wearing a hoodie hides the face) and that no arrest should be made and if there was one, self defense would absolutely be the legitimate defense if the case ever went to trial in the first place.

BTW I didn't think it was a straight answer at all PJ, you changed the dynamics of the question, but that's cool, if you don't want to answer it, it's not that big of a deal.
