How to Get the Most out of LasVegasAdvisor.com

The Advisor has been covering Las Vegas for nearly 35 years.

Though the monthly newsletter went through some early incarnations, beginning in April 1992, it was expanded to 12 pages and has kept the same basic format (and price!) ever since. From then until now, we've published more than 3,600 pages on every aspect of the scene in our city.

Question of the Day was introduced on May 15, 2004. From then until now, we've posted the answers to more than 4,500 readers' questions.

Today's News was launched on August 24, 2006. We can't count that high, but over the past 10-plus years at 3-8 per day, that's between 11,000 and 30,000 news entries.

In short, this website is by far the world's largest online source of information about Las Vegas. There isn't even a close second.

Our problem has always been that decades' worth of content has, basically, run wild; there wasn't any way to harness it all.

Until now.

It took the better part of five years to launch the new LasVegasAdvisor.com. But we persevered in order to bring all this information to you

Other than the Las Vegas Advisor newsletter itself, every page on this site is available to you -- all the archives, every listing, the trip reports, the forums, every binary bit of information.

You can read the comments on every page, though you have to be logged in as a Gold member to write your comments (they go up immediately without any approval, but we reserve the right to delete them if they're inappropriate).

Perhaps best of all, it's all searchable. Search functions are available for the Question of the Day and Today's News archives, as well as a global function that searches the whole site. Also, Advanced Searches allow you to filter each category in all kinds of ways.

Be sure to click on the More buttons at the bottom of all the landing pages -- some categories have four or five pages of listings.

And to get back to the home page, simply click on the Anthony Curtis' Las Vegas Advisor banner on top of any page.

It's all yours! Go nuts!
