Does Circus Circus still do juggling shows, etc through the course of the day on the Midway? It's been years since I've been there, and would like to take my son.
It sure does.
Circus Circus’ Carnival Midway center stage hosts continual performances of the “world's largest permanent circus” daily. The shows go on for 10 minutes, more or less, every half-hour from 11 a.m to 11 p.m., to midnight Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays.
If you arrive a little early, you can grab one of the 60 or so seats in the bleachers; otherwise, stand around the ring.
Current acts include trapeze artists, jugglers, unicyclists, aerialists, a hand balancer, acrobats, feats of strength and balance, and of course clowns. Performers span the globe, many from Argentina, others from Russia, Ukraine, Iran, China, Morocco, and even the U.S.
And while you're there, the midway itself has upwards of 200 carnival games. Try your and your son's luck and hope it’s bad, or else you’ll be carrying around a stuffed animal, some of them quite large, the rest of the day.
