I read on a travel-review site that Palms Place has decided to unlock access to the room balconies. Is this true?

I am interested in purchasing a timeshare in Las Vegas. Most of the major companies are now going to a "point system"; I would just like to reserve the same week(s) every year (the "traditional way"). Are there still such units available? (I don’t like the point systems since the value of the points can be changed by the company; you are at their mercy when they decide to change the rules!)

Starting from one end of the Strip to the other, would it be possible to match up the casinos of today with the casinos that used to be at that location in the past, say in the '60s, '70s, or '80s? For example, what casino did Bellagio replace, or the Cosmopolitan, etc.? (Even mentioning the name changes would be great, e.g., the Aladdin was renamed Planet Hollywood.)

In Feb. 2014 my sister and I went to the Gold Coast to take advantage of the 50+ "Mystery Multiplier." The swipe for both my sister and myself revealed a 7x multiplier. Isn't this the multiplier that used to be standard on "Senior Days"? I couldn't help thinking that most people probably got the same multiplier and that anything higher was an extremely rare occurrence - especially since my sister and I got the exact same multiplier. Have you had any feedback from others regarding their experience on Senior Day and the Mystery Multiplier? Also, from the Gold Coast we went to The Orleans to take advantage of the same offer. After swiping our card to no avail, I went to the slot club and was told that you could earn the points 7 a.m.-7 p.m., as advertised, but you had to actually swipe your card by 4:30 p.m. to be able to take advantage of the offer and get a Mystery Multiplier. Do you know if that is in writing anywhere? I couldn't find it anywhere and it seems like less-than-truthful advertising. Thank you.

When is the bingo room at the Rampart opening?

I have stayed at many hotels in Vegas over the past 30 years and recall that only one swimming pool, at Bally's, is deeper than 4 feet. Are there any other pools at hotels that are similar to Bally's, which was over 6 feet deep in some places?

Now that all the brouhaha has settled down, how is Britney Spears' show at Planet Hollywood doing? Is it making the money that they hoped?
