Revel, the struggling megaresort in Atlantic City, is entirely smoke-free. How much does this have to do with its money problems?

The QOD regarding expansion at the M Resort made me wonder about ownership of the Colorado Belle and Edgewater casinos in Laughlin. My recollection is that the Marnell family bought them from MGM Mirage for the purpose of giving Anthony Marnell III operational experience before the M was finished. The murky part is if these properties were given up to Penn during their purchase of the M. Can you provide any light into this dark corner of the universe?

In a recent QOD you said: "Revel, Atlantic City’s new, $2.4 billion megaresort seems almost certain to go bankrupt not only due to its price tag: Customers are avoiding it like the plague." Can you elaborate as to why "Customers are avoiding it like the plague"??

I could swear that the sign under the hand of faith at the Golden Nugget says that the item on display is a replica of the actual nugget but have found many references on line that state that the actual nugget is on display in the casino. Could you verify those claims?

Whatever happened to the Florida man who punched and killed the man from Utah in a confrontation inside of O'Sheas Casino a year ago last summer? Was he ever tried or convicted of murder or was he let go on the grounds of self-defense?

I don't like resort fees, but it seems like the hotels get you one way or the other. For example, if you stay at LVH, there's no resort fee (yay!), but they charge for internet access and use of the fitness room. In the end, I would end up paying at least as much as the resort fee at many other resorts. So...which is better?

Now that Aliante has changed hands, are they still accepting the Advisor coupons?

I was reading in the most recent LVA that the LVH may be closing its casino. Do you know if this will affect any of the shows there, specifically the Trent Carlini Elvis show? We would like to see him in late December.
