I read your QoD every day. What I would like to know is, I have a lot of match books and boxes from all the old casinos in Las Vegas and Rneo. Some of the casinos are gone. Are they worth anything? I also have some from new casinos. Should I keep or get rid of them?

Did Ilario Pesco, General Mgr. at Bally's Steak House and Sterling Brunch, really retire last month? After 40+ years at all the MGM (now Bally's) famed Restaurants: Seasons, Gigi's, Steakhouse, Al dente, just to name a few, -- the ambiance is not the same without him greeting you at the door in his tux.

Years ago, I saw a show at the Stardust, which I think was called "Enter The Night." It featured a variety of acts, including a caged motorcycle act and a superb laser light show (which seemed to be the "thing" in Vegas shows at the time). Can you give any information on the show, including where some of the acts are now? This show impressed me as being one of the best I saw here.

A couple of months ago Harrah's had an employee contest to rename the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas. No one seems to know the winning name or who submitted it. Any information?

I heard that Wynn Las Vegas replaces the carpet every 9 months, while other hotels replace theirs after many years. My wife would like to know what they do with the old carpet, since she thinks it would be great in our basement casino.
