I was trying to find some history on the Western Casino downtown. I could only find it opened in 1970. Jackie Gaughan and a partner owned it. It opened as the world’s largest bingo parlor. There must be much more to a 41-year-old downtown casino.

Have asked this question several times, but never seem to get an answer, but a group of us girls are coming out in Sept., and just wanted to know if you have to be a hotel guest of "M" Resort in order to take their bus from the Fashion Mall out to "M"? We'd like to spend a day out there, but want to know the least costly way to get there. Thank you.

In a recent QoD you mentioned that the Thunderbird became the Silverbird became El Rancho II, then was imploded. What can you tell us about the Thunderbird that is just north of the Stratosphere, near Luv-It Frozen Custard? The last time I was in town (Nov) it was closed.

I've been watching Vega$ with Dan Tanna on DVD and am really enjoying it! It's interesting how much the Strip has changed. I keep seeing the Casino "Silver Bird" and I have never heard of this one. Could you tell me a little about it?
