What happened to Frank Caliendo at the Monte Carlo? I was hoping to see him on an upcoming trip and it looks like he is no longer performing in Las Vegas. Can you give me the scoop?

I heard somewhere that a member of the Maloof family of the Palms Casino Resort fame, had an interest or was part owner of a casino in Central City or Blackhawk, Colo. Is this true and did he sell his stake in that casino to help build the Palms?

What was the name of that casino that was west of the Westin Casuarina and east of Bills on Flamingo Road? It’s now a flat piece of land. Years ago when I stayed at the Maxim, I would go next door to that casino and play a little. I heard that the owner had a police record and that the place was shut down. Any information would help.
