A few years ago at my friend's wedding in Michigan we went across to a casino in Canada and became fixated with playing Sigma Derby, a horse racing game where you wagered on the quinella of 5 plastic horses. The groom and myself are huge fans of horse racing in general, so this was entertaining for hours. In August (11-16) we are coming to Vegas for the bride's 30th birthday and I am hoping to find a Sigma Derby left somewhere in Vegas. The last one I knew was one in the MGM, but I don't know if it's still there or not. Can the LVA help me find Sigma Derby or something similar for this trip with my friends?

How far either in yards or minutes from Las Vegas Boulevard will be the entrance to the casino at the Aria Resort in CityCenter?

While I was in Vegas the week of 7/12, Mermaids and La Bayou were closed. What happened? Will they reopen or are they permanently defunct due to $$$ woes? I sure missed my semi-annual La Bayou Yard!

Whatever happened to the "underground" at Caesars Palace. It was located beneath the Sportsbook. You could eat there in individual rooms, be visited by a roving magician, lots of thunder and lightning. It was exciting. Is it still down there or was it replaced by something?

I recently stayed at the Encore and had a room on the 55th floor (or so I thought). In the elevator, there are no buttons for floors 40 through 49. I work in a 20-story building in Atlanta where there is no button for the 13th floor; why are there no floors in the 40s at the Encore? Do other Vegas properties have "missing" floors?
