It would be beneficial to know which Caesars properties are in bankruptcy and which are not. Also your comments regarding the recent Fortune magazine article about this absolute mess would be interesting.

I stayed downtown at the end of June and on my morning run east on Fremont I noticed that ALL the motels past the Experience, including the larger Western, were closed and fenced off. Are there plans for those parcels, or is it a case of the city trying to get the "characters" that stayed at those places away from the area?

What is happening out at Lake Las Vegas? We were there two years ago, and there was nothing going on. A few shops and restaurant were open, but really no reason for visiting.

I just returned from my second trip recently to Las Vegas, and I have walked by the Grand Bazaar shops, and on both occasions the place is virtually empty. With the news that Wahlburgers isn't coming, how long will this mall last? Also, the religious types shouting at the bottom of the pedestrian walkway surely doesn't help.

What is the status of Dotty’s and their opening of casinos?

I recall reading that Harrah’s was going to remodel their casino and later heard that they were going to start remodeling their rooms. I was thinking of staying there this October. What, if any, progress has been made regarding all of the remodeling?
