I have been to Vegas 5 times in the last 2 years and always head to Fremont St. for one good night of fun, but I have noticed that the songs on the canopy never change, always the same ones. Will they ever get a new one?

I was watching a YouTube video where Alan Mendelson was interviewing Anthony Curtis and he said that Annie Duke was coming out with some books that you could purchase from LVA. Any update on when that will take place?

Today we're going to tackle a two-parter: "Where is Lance Burton these days and will he re-emerge in Las Vegas in the future?"; and, from another reader, "Whatever happened to Melinda, who was touted as 'The First Lady of Magic'"?

Hi there. We will be coming to Vegas for a trip in the near future. My question is about the rides and activties for adults and children. Are your rides made for people of all sizes or do you have specific requirements? If so, what is the weight and height limit and are there some rides where weight and height are not an issue. Thanks for your feedback.

I was talking to a long-time Las Vegas resident (George) while gaming at Main Street Station. The interior design of Main Street Station is quite unique with exquisite detail from the light fixtures, and stained-glass ceiling to the wooden walls. George went on to an elaborate explanation on the interior and evolution of Main Street Station. George explained that the original wooden interior (as it still stands today) was hand-carved and imported from Germany. At that time there was a dance hall in the mezzanine above the casino floor. The original owner subsequently sold the casino to Debbie Reynolds, who George said screwed up the wooden interior by painting over portions of the wood. George went on to say that Reynolds ultimately sold the casino to the Station Casino Group that ultimately sold it to the Boyd Group. How much of this it true?

I read in LVA that the Nevada State Prison is one of the oldest in the country, dating back to the 1860s. There must be some good stories associated with it in all those years.

Recently it was Las Vegas night on the Turner movie channel I guess... "Ocean's Eleven," "Viva Las Vegas," and "The Las Vegas Story" from 1952, with Jane Russell, Victor Mature, and Vincent Price. Over the years you have fielded many questions (with answers) re movies and Las Vegas, but I don't recall this movie in any of your answers, nor did I remember ever seeing it before. The two main properties were the "Last Chance" and the "Fabulous". This was a Howard Hughes film production, I believe. Any other insight you can provide?

What was the name of that casino that was west of the Westin Casuarina and east of Bills on Flamingo Road? It’s now a flat piece of land. Years ago when I stayed at the Maxim, I would go next door to that casino and play a little. I heard that the owner had a police record and that the place was shut down. Any information would help.
