Everybody had a terrible gambling jones after being deprived for so long, and it quickly became evident to the casinos that people would pay literally any price that was asked for rooms, food, and gambling. I think they were actually shocked by the demand. They kept jacking up the prices and people kept coming anyway. They stopped offering bargains or deals because they didn't have to, not when Joe Gambler was happily willing to fork over $350 plus resort fees and taxes for his room, $37 for a burger and fries, and $8.50 for a bottle of water, all for the privilege of playing 85% return slots and $25 minimum 6:5 shitjack.
