Name the song the line is from Part II

Simple Minds - ya got me on the title
Alan Parsons - missed it - used to jam with those guys - the band was made up of rotating session musicians - which explains why they could not nail down their own sound! If they had got their act together they would have been huge.

That's Night Moves, by Bob Seger.

I remember Bob as a popular local act when I was growing up in Detroit, before he became better known nationally.

From 1964:

Well I'm hers (I'm hers), she's mine (she's mine)
I'm hers, she's mine
Wedding bells are gonna chime

Is that "Do-Wah-Diddy?"

If I'm right, these lyrics are from the first big hit by an up-and-coming country singer in 1984 or 1985 ...

"They say hindsight's 20-20 but I'm nearly goin' blind
From starin' at her photograph and wishing she was mine
It's that same old lost love story - it's sad but it's true
There was a time when she was mine ..."

That's Randy Travis. I think the song was just called 1982. Over the years, I learned a lot of good songs, to which I might not have otherwise been inclined to listen, from barroom jukeboxes.

Here's a little bit of 1978:

I go to parties, sometimes until four
It's hard to leave when you can't find the door

Pretty sure that's Diana, by Paul Anka.

Early 70s:

I see you every morning, outside the restaurants,
The music plays so nonchalant

Hi All,

I’m sure that’s “Lonely Days” by the Bee Gees. It’s the only song I can recall with the word “nonchalant”.

Here’s a big hit from 1976:

Changing, our love is going gold
Even though we grow old, it grows new

That, right there, be one of my all-time favorites.

Still The One, by Orleans. And still a really good song!!

This one is from 1976 as well:

I went from Phoenix, Arizona
All the way to Tacoma
Philadelphia, Atlanta, L.A.

I think that's called "Keep on Rockin' Me, Baby." ???

If I'm right, the floor is open ...

For Cyndeeta - more nonchalant than you ever wanted to hear
