Name the song the line is from Part II

Hmmmmm I hear it but can't for the life of me...Hmmmm
I'll add a line ...

"It wasn't me that started that old crazy Asian war,
But I was proud to go and do my patriotic chore"
I believe that’s “Ruby, don’t take your love to town” by Kenny Rogers.

1967:

I care not what the world may say
Without your love there is no day
That's something like "Love, this is my song ..." but I'm not sure if the title is right, nor do I know who sang it, LOL.

“This is my song” is the name, Sue. It was by Petula Clark. But, you got the name of the song. So, Take it away.
OK, back to the '50's ...

"Make it mine.
Make it mine.
Make it mine."

Good one! Lyrics from the great Sammy Cahn
Three Coins in the Fountain - lots of versions - probably Frank Sinatra for this date

Another great lyricist -

where hunger is ugly, where souls are forgotten,
where black is the colour, where none is the number

As I am blocked during the day here is a hint. Lyrics by bros, female singer.

OK - I was going to say Bee Gees - Come On Over which would fit quite well with todays Bee Gee Lovefest.
But then you threw in the female singer so I guess you are referring to the version performed by Olivia Newton John.

It was written by the Brothers Gibb

Tony, the version of "3 Coins in the Fountain" that was big in the '50's in the U.S. was by the Four Aces. It was a #1 hit in 1954 and was the title song of a movie.
OK - Ya got me on tht one - never heard of them.
I did however find their original recording which is here -
