Some 1968:

Your looks intoxicate me

My bad, you're right on it was Jan and Dean

Thanks, you'll save me some embarrassment at the bar one night !

That’s “Eleanor (Gee, I think you’re swell)” by the Turtles. They did some really good ones.

BTW, Jim the Beach Boys covered TLOLFP and they worked with Jan and Dean on other stuff too. So, don’t worry about embarrassment, JPC. You were both right.

This was a hit for the second time in 1963:

And the stars begin to flicker in the sky

Edit: This quote came out strange
I think that It's ELANOR.
Too late

Is that DEEP PURPLE?

I think you can take that one to the bank, vegas777.

Whatcha got?
Yes. indeed, vegas777. It's your turn alright.
Sorry about the delay. Just worked a 14 hour day.
Anyway,
Like a branch on a tree, I keep reaching to be free.
I believe that’s “A Place in the Sun” by Stevie Wonder. It’s one of my favorites.

Another from the mid-60s here:

He knows I'm gonna stay.

Good job, Cyndee. I had a tough time with that one. Those short little one-liners can be deceptively difficult.

Pretty sure the song is California Dreamin', by The Mamas and The Papas.

Early 60s for this one:

She wants to pass by you
