I didn’t know that Ben Taylor did it too, along with many others. But, I do know that is the song. So, you’re up now.
There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do.

That's Africa, by Toto. Good one!

From 1963:

When you smile, it's like a dream
And I'm so lucky 'cause I found a girl like you

That’s a rally good one, Jim. It’s “Denise, Denise”. I don’t remember who did it though.

One from 1968:

The clouds will be a daisy chain
So let me see you smile again

Hello All,

Back in Canada. That is Dear Prudence - Beatles - good choice.

************NEW***********

I know of a fool, you see, for that fool is me

Tonyrob

Good to have you back, Tony!

I'm thinking that's Why Do Fools Fall In Love?. I remember a version by Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers. Were they the first to do it?

I'm about to turn into a pumpkin, but I'll leave this one. It made the US Top-10 twice -- in 1960 and again in 1971:

With eyes as black as coal
That look down in my soul

Here are more lines from the 1960 version, sung by a male artist:

With eyes as black as coal
That look down in my soul
And start a fire there
And then I lose control
I have to beg your pardon

I'm going to pick that rose
And watch her as she grows
In my garden

The lyrics were altered slightly for the 1971 version, which was sung by a female artist.

Good Morning All,

I think you were posting while I was typing this. Good one, Jim. That’s “Spanish Harlem”, first by Ben E. King, then by Aretha Franklin.

I understand this was from a movie, but also went to #1 on the Billboard chart in 1958.

"Keep your cotton pickin' fingers out my curly hair."

let the game carry on but it's Lennon/McCartney " I will" from the white album..I always connect it to Blackbird

I think that's Hard Headed Woman, by Elvis.

Another #1 hit from 1958:

Soon he'll be there at your side
With a sweet bouquet
