Name the song the line is from Part II

"Bodies in the sand
Tropical drink melting in your hand"
That’s “Kokomo” by the Beach Boys.

One line should do for this one:

Sit back and let the evening go

I'll never forget that one. It's Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, by the Beatles.

This song was part of a 1969 album, and was released as a single in 1970:

Listening to you, I get the music

How do you think he does it ? I don't know.

That's Pinball Wizard, also by The Who.

This is from 1965:

I wish that for just one time, you could stand inside my shoes
And just for that one moment, I could be you

Good one - Positively 4th Street - Bob Dylan

NEW - Another American Oldie

I'm young, I know, but even so,
I know a thing or two, I've learned from you.

Good one, Tony!

That, right there, is my favorite Everly Brothers song ever. Most folks don't even seem to know it.

It's Love Hurts. Damn, I loved those harmonies.

I liked these guys back in the 60s for their raw earthiness:

If I seem edgy, I want you to know
That I never mean to take it out on you

It's Oldies Night!

Lots of recordings of that but the best for me was the Animals - Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood.
Eric is still touring and is a friend of mine.

And you may find somebody kind to help and understand you,
someone who is just like you and needs a gentle hand to . . .

Is that "Downtown" by Petula Clark?

If so, I'm going to try to do this one with just one line --

"Don't take this heaven from one"

I'm going to bed now, so if no one gets it by morning, I can add more.
