Hi All,

I hope 1998 isn’t too new:

I'll be your cloud up in the sky
I'll be your shoulder when you cry
I hear your voices when you call me

BTW, Jim, a group called Ace did “How long (has this been goin’ on)”.

I remember a radio interview with the lead singer of ACE. His british accent was so thick and garbled you almost needed a translator to follow the conversation. The song ended the interview and I discovered that this guy did the song like ABBA..phonetically.

Maybe 1998 was too new, or maybe not. I’ll give hints.

This was a duet by two popular singers. One uses just an initial for his first name. The other is among the top selling female artists of all time.
The song spent six weeks at the top of the charts and is on a Christmas album called “These are Special times”.

More lines:

And when all hope is gone, I'm here
No matter how far you are, I'm near
It makes no difference who you are
