I'm not in favor of any loud-mouthed, loose cannon bully like Trump leading our country, but I think you are on the correct side of that bet.  He can bully and buy his way out of it, for one thing.  IMHO he'd have won the election had it not been for bad timing with Covid, and, again, his loose cannon mouth, as if he had all the expertise in the world.  JMHO.

Also, you can throw in all the incompetent and scandleous cabinet members, shutting down the government for no good reason and not doing a thing on healthcare, too.

And then there's the 38,692 lies, losing the House, a second Covid checks (with his name on them) would have helped his chances.

Lastly, Americans were tired of his lack of direction and constant grievances.

He might have won the election if not for covid, but he WOULD  have won the election if he hadn't handled it so poorly, first with denial, then lies, then conspiracy theories. We lost months while he dithered and babbled about bleach.

Like any classic narcissist, he considered that crisis only in terms of how it would affect him, specifically his reelection chances. And like any classic racist, he implemented travel bans on China, when all the infections were coming from Europe--as Fauci repeatedly told him.

But to return to your point...Trump may or may not have enough fuel in the tank to fend off every indictment. I think that as the cost of refusing to be a loyal lackey goes down, his acolytes will flee like rats from a sinking ship.

Candy do you prefer a president who is incapable of answering questions & is out of sight for days at a time.  This week for example, he disappeared on Wednesday & hasn't been seen since. 

I've seen the check he gave to his lawyer who is also on a recorded tape with the former president outlining the shell company they would set up to pay off his hooker.      On a day when Boilerman is making up stories about shell companies and the Biden's -  Boilerman defends Trump  caught red handed doing that very thing.    

The  prosecutor and I have  alot in common.  He can back up his shit too.
