Meanwhile, David eagerly awaits JFK Jr's resurrection.
Youngkin ran on a platform of fixing the "fraudulent elections".
Hmmmm.....maybe we should take him up on that. The Virginia governor should not certify the election until the Cyber Ninjas can audit all the ballots cast by dead people who voted for Youngkin. That would be the big, fat crybaby thing to do.
I guess we'll have to see if the current Virginia governor is a big, fat crybaby like DOnald Trump and David Miller. Stay tuned.

Looking at the exit polling, what got him elected was his appeal to white grievance over education. It seems white parents don't want their kids to be taught about slavery and the civil rights movement because it might hurt their sensitive feelings. It is sad but true. That is just where we are as a country. Like I said more than once we are on a path to ditch a democratic republic system of government for one of authoritarian fascism.

I'm a white voter and I wanted my kids to be taught about slavery. In my town conservative town, kids are taught about slavery. That's not the rub, however. The "woke" folks want to teach kids what they should think, while I believe that kids should instead be taught how to think.
What to think should be left to parents.
Boiler, by all means explain how children are being taught to be "woke". Are you one of those folks, like in Texas, that think kids should be taught both sides of the Holocaust so they can decide for themselves? Maybe you want to leave room for their parents to explain that it was a good thing or perhaps a hoax that didn't happen at all? One of Trumpkin's campaign surrogates is literally a book burning advocate.

You have that completely wrong. What to think should be left to the kids. They should be given enough information to form their own viewpoints and opinions, and shouldn't be coerced by their teachers or their parents to think one way or another.
It's also completely wrong that teaching kids about history--including the uncomfortable or embarrassing parts--is "teaching them how to think." It's giving them the information they need to think for themselves. If anything, ignoring slavery and race relations IS teaching them how to think.
Of course, there's a reason for all this manufactured conservative paranoia. The RepubliQ doesn't want children to know how undemocratic our system is and how it was founded on racism--because it helps RepubliQ politicians get elected even though they represent a minority of the citizenry.

It's truly amazing how conservatives are so easily manipulated. One dog whistle dreamed up by RepubliQ strategists and all the mutts come running to the polls and shit on the lawn.
Mark, you're right. We're losing our democracy, bit by bit, piece by piece. It's because America is chock full of stupid people who are also assholes. Youngkin is nothing but a loyal Trump-licker and shouldn't have come close to winning. The "issue" of what can or can't be taught in schools was skillfully presented as something for RepubliQ morons to get all ginned up about. So Youngkin rode that wave. Yay.
I take comfort that I live in Oregon, a state that would never elect a conservitard RepubliQ asshole like YoungkinTrump. Maybe eventually, we'll let the Confederacy secede for good and return to the 19th century, where they've always wanted to be.
Just a side note--the RepubliQ LUVVVV to portray every Democratic viewpoint and policy as "radical." But what's more radical than teaching your children that a major part of America's history never happened?
