Like with the infrastructure bill they voted against, Republicans in Congress will take credit for the price reductions in 10...9...8...7...
We can only be thankful that only a tiny minority of Americans think like stupid Tommie-poo. I mean, quite apart from his bizarre ideology, his brain is like that tub of cottage cheese that's been in the fridge for three months.

It's already happening. I don't remember who it was, but I saw a brief clip of some RepubliQ asshole taking credit for the reductions. And yes, he voted against them.
They all voted against it not because they didn't think it would be good for the country, but because Biden wanted it. That's not governance--it's petty partisanship.
That's what you get with the RepubliQ.
Here's a coincidence! A headline from 2017:
After meeting with pharma lobbyists, Trump drops promise to negotiate drug prices
I think everyone who supports the US having the highest drug prices anywhere should vote for The Defendant!

Millerscum will list that as one of his orange master's "accomplishments." I wonder how much money they had to drop in his jar?
The US has more approved drugs than other countries with price controls. Sometimes it is better to pay more
“This cross-sectional study demonstrated that more than one-fifth of the new drugs approved by the FDA in 2017 through 2020 were either refused marketing authorization or not recommended for reimbursement in Australia, Canada, or the UK as of May 2022 due to unfavorable benefit-to-risk profiles, uncertain clinical benefit, or unacceptably high price,” Catherine Pham, PharmD, MPH, of the Pharmacy Outcomes Research Group at Kaiser Permanente National Pharmacy in Downey, CA, and colleagues wrote in their study.

If you examined all the drugs approved by all four of those countries over the last six years, the vast majority of them would not have been approved by one of those countries. So the study's conclusions are meaningless.
In any event, it has nothing to do with Big Pharma's Republican-fueled stranglehold on drug prices in the US.
Once again stupid kevin can't read. The US has access to more drugs than any other country, in part due to their willingness to pay more.
Drugs were not approved due in part due to high prices, unfavorable benefit to risk & uncertain clinicical benefit. The last 2 mean these countries were unwilling to pay for drugs that wouldn't save enough people for them. The US isn't as stringent when it comes to those 2 criteria.
Thus drugs are more expensive. You get what you pay for

I guess if stupid Tommie-poo wants to use twisted logic to justify the evil, moronic practices of his masters, there's no stopping him.
Sad.
And stupid.
