Do you support removing illegal aliens from Medicaid to protect resources for American citizens?

Some of those folks, though do receive medical services. Millerpig says that "is not compassion.'" While I completely disagree with that evil, wretched statement and the race hatred behind it, I'd like to address the KABILLIONS OF TAXPAYER MUNNY argument--a MAGA classic.

Not providing basic medicine care to those who need it is far more expensive than refusing it. Candy certainly knows what I mean, and I suspect that Millerpig, his posting of that stupid, evil meme, knows as well.

Also...Trump has slashed Medicaid and Medicare funding. So if people are having trouble getting on the rolls, whose fault is it? Blaming FEELTHY ILLEGULS looks an awful lot like an attempt to deflect from that stark reality.

President Trump is following through on his promise to put American citizens first by removing nearly 1.4 million illegal immigrants from taxpayer-funded healthcare programs. This bold move is already saving billions of dollars and ensuring that our strained healthcare system prioritizes hardworking Americans and legal residents over those who entered the country illegally. For years, open-border policies forced taxpayers to foot the bill for free healthcare, driving up costs, overcrowding emergency rooms, and reducing access for citizens. American families have struggled with higher premiums and longer wait times while resources were diverted to support illegal immigration. This massive cleanup represents a long-overdue correction that restores fairness and fiscal responsibility to government programs. This is real leadership delivering real results. By cracking down on waste and abuse, President Trump is protecting the American people and sending a clear message that our country’s resources belong to our citizens first. More enforcement and continued removals will strengthen our system and reinforce the principle that America comes first in every decision.

All attempts to respond intelligently to him will do nothing. Miller gets the truth from Fakebook and repost it here. What if everyone just ignored him? He might get bored and go away.

I wouldn't ignore David.  I read everybody.  It's instructional to know what other people are thinking, what is in people's minds.   On occasion I may have something to say that is of value to somebody.

JMHO.

That is a California program funded with California dollars - not Federal Medicaid dollars.   It is illegal for Federal Medicaid to go to illegal aliens.

Tom lies.

ENROLLED, fuckhead. They may receive limited/emergency services.

I was absolutely certain that you wouldn't fathom the distinction and would say what you did.

NO ILLEGAL ALIEN IS EVER ENROLLED IN MEDICAID.

ENROLLED.

Stupid Tom 🙄

How many times do I have to put this up

Medi-Cal funding sources. In FY 2021–22, Medi-Cal was financed 70% by the federal government, 21% from the state general fund, and 9% using other state and local funds.

Except, that's not happening at all. Trump/MAGA slashed funding across the board. They're making no such concerted effort as Millerpig claims. There was no targeted removal of illegal immigrants from Medicaid rolls, because there are no illegal immigrants on Medicaid except in the case of a clerical error of some sort, which is rare.

Illegal immigrants keep a low profile, so the LAST thing they want to try is signing up for a government program that will reject them!

Such persons do receive limited medical care in some states, but those are from state-funded, not federally funded programs.

That 1.4 million figure is simple fantasy bullshit. Millerpig can't back it up with real data--just a screaming little screed with lotsa stuff in bold type.

Yes. You finally figured it out. California uses its own funding to provide medical services to people who don't qualify for Medicaid.

If those services weren't provided, then the federal funding would be sufficient, as Medicaid expenses would be funded by the federal allocation.

The reason why California state and local kick in that 30% is that the federal government will NOT finance medical care for non-citizens. So all the MAGA barf about KABILLIONS OF ILLEGULS receiving free federally funded healthcare is absolute bullshit, and Trump isn't involved in state-funded care, so there's nothing to bitch about.

You all missed Patsy's point. Many hospitals are not allowed to turn away anyone, even if they can't pay or have insurance. This becomes a financial drain on the hospital,  increasing overall costs for the rest of us, no matter how we fund our own healthcare. So even though some may or may not be on any level of a government program, they are still getting care at someone else's expense.

Tom - this is from YOUR SOURCE that you provided.....did you even read it ?

"Because federal Medicaid dollars cannot cover undocumented residents except in emergencies, the entire expansion is paid with state general fund money, costing California billions annually."
