This of course is a strong argument for the nationalization of the fossil fuel industry. And yeah, I know, socialism socialism socialism
That has worked so well for Venezuela

Yes, that's a compelling conservitard argument, because Venezuela is the only socialist country in the world. Venezuela Venezuela Venezuela!!!! Good doggy, Tommie-poo!
Of course, Venezuela's problems are due to its poor leadership, not its chosen economic system. But that's way too deep for stupid Tommie-poo.
But just to respond to his idiotic conservitard meme: Sweden! Sweden! Sweden! One of most prosperous and happy countries in the world, and OH so socialist!!!
Stupid Tommie-poo.

Blaming Venezuelas problems on poor leadrship is correct, they chose the ecomomic sysyem
that they operate under , which is socialism. The results under their chosen system speak for itself..

Then how do you explain Sweden's prosperity and happiness under the same system?
You can't.
Ok, moron. Sweden's system is not a totally socialistic system like the one in Venezuela. If it was, Sweden would look just like Venezuela. Get your facts straight BEFORE you post another lying post.

Oil Nations, Prodded by Trump, Reach Deal to Slash Production
The deal will reduce output by 9.7 million barrels a day. While significant, the cut falls far short of what is needed to bring oil production in line with demand.
"...unprecedented coordinated effort by Russia, Saudi Arabia and the United States..." You know, Trump, Putin, and Mohammed bin Salman.

Once again, Picture doesn't have a grasp of the international oil business. In the Middle east, they stick a straw in the ground and it produces oil. They can create new and productive oil well in a year or less. It takes us several years for fracked oil, and 10-15 years off large offshore wells.
They can turn it on and turn it off . We needed off during Trumps request.
Please do your research.

And exactly why did we "need" to have the oil-producing nations cut back, O Fossil Fuel Expert? To prop up prices? To make sure that the fossil fuel companies continued to bleed America dry? What a noble goal!
As anyone with a brain knows, the Republican party is owned by the fossil fuel industry, which told its lackeys in Congress and the Senate to make sure their profits were maximized--and Trump eagerly acceded to their demands. Their current willingness to ass-fuck everyone because of a temporary and mostly artificial shortage is exactly why we should have let market forces operate instead of restricting supply.
There are already thousands of productive wells that have been capped because the fossil fuel companies want to keep prices high. Then there's Canadian crude, which can get here with or without the Keystone pipeline. The bottom line is that we don't need to import fossil fuels from Russia at all--even now, we get 8% of our total consumption from them. That could easily be offset by ramping up production.
It's corporate America, and Republicanism, both of which prioritize profits over the economic well-being of the American people. To pretend otherwise is just blowing smoke.

Again - what makes you think the drillers would drill on new land when they aren't even drilling their exisitng wells at full capacity?
