EU vs US on COVID

Two regions of the world got hit with the virus and have since  reopened  their economies.

One is doing so while reducing infections....and the other is back to where it started when it first got hit.

One is actively expanding testing ...and the other has just cut of federal funding for testing

One does not have a partisan divide within its borders about wearing masks...and the other...does.

One has a coordianted, national response with centralized policy based on science....and the other has DOnald Trump.

As COVID cases fall in Europe, calls to ban travel from America ...

''America First''.

Sad to say, I believe that the people who live in the EU are smarter than those who live in the US. But for PJ, any opportunity to slam President Trump, for real or imagined reasons, is in his mind justified. It is also apparent that the people in the US value their "freedoms" more the people in the EU value their lives and the lives of loved ones.

Here ia an example of Americans and their view of the corona virus and what happened to them - Image may contain: 1 person, closeupl

Couple weeks ago Ashley and myself tested positive for Covid-19. The battle with Covid-19 sucked. Iv never felt that sick before in my life. I can honestly say it was painful, the feeling is so weird to describe. We lost our sense of taste and smell, we both stayed in bed for days with fever and chills, taking turns masking up to make sure the girls were fed and okay. The hardest part was FaceTiming the girls from their rooms Bc we were trying to really stay away from them as much as possible. Having the girls tell us how much they missed us, and how much they just wanted us to kiss them. Truly heart breaking. If things couldn’t get worse, before I started showing symptoms, I was around my parents ( who haven’t left their home since March) . Both whom ended up also getting COVID-19 due to me exposing them. That shattered me, my parents are my world, and the guilt was tough. Ashley and I have taken all the measures that the Health Department recommended and have felt pretty much 100% for about a week. Trying to get back to work we had to get tested again. And sadly we Both got Tested positive for Covid-19 for a second time.. I’m writing this post Bc I was one of those who thought the Virus would never affect me or my family, I thought being healthy and in shape would keep me virus free. I didn’t always mask up, I was being selfish and ended up most likely getting the people I love the most sick. I’m writing this to maybe change some people’s perspective on this Virus. It’s serious, take it serious, do what the experts think is best. Don’t be selfish, don’t be dumb. Bc even if it don’t hurt you with symptoms, it can hurt you financially. Thank God we put away for a raining day, Bc it’s definitely scary being out of work for long periods of time. Stay safe everyone, stay blessed. Mask up! Do it for your loved ones who can’t afford to get sick.

So what this shows is that Leadership Matters. Right?

As usual, you missed the point. As the old adage goes, "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink".

I've noticed that the Liberal rags don't talk about deaths, as this is going down.  Let's look at some interesting data from Indiana.

In the first week of testing only 800 tests were being done per day.  Three weeks later, 2700 tests per day.  three weeks later, 4400 tests per day, three weeks later 5600 tests, then 7000, then 9500.  20% of those who were tested early on were positive.  This has shrunk to only 4% of those being tested this week are testing positive.  Positive cases test results are increasing because we're doing 10 times the testing than we did early on.  Many positive cases were not being confirmed along the way, while now most are.  Anyone can now get tested in every state, I believe, so more positives are being found.

While positive cases in Indiana is down about 50% from the peak, deaths are down about 85%.  Why?  Because actual corona positives have decreased more than 50% Indiana.  Other states are seeing the same.

Liberals, here and elsewhere never report the whole story. They only post snippets of stories that reflect badly on President Trump. They are what is wrong with our nation.

Yeah. Of course. The Deep State liberal media Hillary sent emails yada yada yada MAGA MAGA MAGA is engaged in a vast conspiracy to hide DA TROOT.

Deaths are NOT "going down." Deaths are what's called a "lagging indicator." The recent surges in infections will result in an increase in deaths in several weeks.

I find it so goddamn hilarious that Cons bleat about the "liberal media," while cheering for Republican governors, such as in Nebraska and Florida, that have directly ordered concealment of infection and deaths data. You'll get a much more accurate picture of the situation by watching CNN than you will by watching Fox News.

Of course, if you're a Trumper, you'll get more of you want to hear from Fox News, and doubtless be more entertained. So Trumpers, why do you watch the news? For entertainment or for information? I know that unrealistically rosy views of the pandemic may help Trump get reelected, but Jesus, should that be your sole goal in life? Distort and misrepresent this deadly crisis just to enhance his reelection chances? Stupid at best; criminally irresponsible at worst.

YaDa,YaDa, YaDa, All you do is flap your jaws while saying nothing remotely trurhful.
