Gasoline prices

By PJ's and Kevin"s metrics, if someone was pissing in their ear they would claim it is raining. I noticed that while spewing their lies, they neglected to reply about the Afghan fiasco and Biden's southern border crisis. Things will only get worse, which should frighten every American.

One thing for certain, if Donald Trump was in the White House he would be under indictment and facing impeachment for 1)- the border situation and 2) the Afghan fiasco.

Due to bidens restrictive oil/gas policies US production is down & the country is no longer energy independent & is dependent on foreign sources.  With lower production, prices have gone up.  When I started working in Phoenix in September gas was $3.25.  It is now $3.49

Pj is one a few that actually believes psaki's press releases. The economy is far from booming. By every economic measure the economy is still 5 to 10% below 2019.

Do tell !  What restrictive Biden policy is stopping Chevron from pumping more oil ?  Last time I checked the US President doesnt get to tell oil companies how much supply to bring to market.    You clearly have no clue how the industry works.

By every economic measure the economy is below 2019?   Economists dont agree.   Thats a new level of BS for you !

And the pandemic isn't over.   We still have only a partial reopneing thanks to the Tucker Carlson crowd that thinks the vaccine is a secret liberal bio-weapon to kill conservatives or something.

But the crybaby-o-meter is at record levels.    I cant help with that.  Nor am I interested in trying.

Meanwhile, America is no longer energy independent and gas/oil prices continue to climb. It takes a special kind of ignorance to dispute this reality.

I know our conservitards are just parroting Mother Tucker when they howl about "energy independence," but to borrow a pet phrase of the Tuckhole, what does that even mean?

We can generate all the energy we need from domestic sources, but the fossil fuel companies that Republicans are slaves to choose to import oil instead. That's not Biden's fault, nor was it Trump's fault. Big Oil has much more power than a mere President.

Despite our conservitards' bleating, we've been buying our energy from other countries since WW2. Why do we do that? Because it's cheaper than what we can produce domestically. DUHHH, conservitards!

The US was not buying energy (oil) form other countries at the end of President Trump's term - America was actually a net exporter of oil since December 2018, selling to some 180 countries, including Mexico, Canada, Japan, India and China. - all of this factual information is available to reference on Google. Since Biden took over, the US has been forced to buy oil from foreign nations - and that is why gasoline prices have risen and will continue to rise. Once again we have been subjected to more twisting of the truth from Kevin.

More lies and nonsense from Stalker:

1. The US does not buy oil on the international or domestic markets. American fossil fuel companies buy oil. They are not the US. And the US is not a fossil fuel company.

2. No one is being "forced" to buy oil. "Forced" means there is no alternative. There are obviously many, many alternatives.

3. The US was a net petroleum exporter in 2020--but just as in previous years, US fossil fuel companies bought almost 8 million barrels of crude per day. So Stalker's pronouncement that "the US was not buying energy (oil) "form" other countries at the end of Trump's term is a simple, stupid lie.

4. "Energy independence" means that a country does not have to rely on foreign sources for its energy needs. That's the case now. The fact that fossil fuel companies are buying fossil fuel products from other countries doesn't mean that they have to. DUHHHHHH.

5. Only a complete moron, such as Stalker, would think that a US President has any influence on world energy markets. Those markets are made by private companies, not the US government. Again, DUHHHHH.

Stalker has once again embarrassed himself in a futile and stupid effort to attack Biden and blame him for everything he can think of. It's the flip side of his Trump-love, whereby his hero, the Orange Turd could do no wrong and deserved no blame for anything at all.

I really don't have to dispute your lies and half truths - as time proceeds, the reality of what I have posted will be apparent to everyone.

Predictions are cheap. You've predicted all sorts of loony shit for years, and none of it has actually happened. You've never said, "oops, I was wrong." So those predictions, like you, are stupid and worthless.

Even if you label them "REALITY!!!!!" and "DA TROOT!"

Only a complete idiot cannot recognize that the huge increases in energy costs are partly a result of the Democrat climate agenda. On his first day in office President Biden issued this executive order:

https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/presidential-actions/2021/01/20/executive-order-protecting-public-health-and-environment-and-restoring-science-to-tackle-climate-crisis/

Among other directives this order:

1.  Directs federal agencies to review all actions taken under the Trump administration that could thwart specified environmental objectives

2.  Directs agencies to consider rescinding or suspending four pending agency actions related to (1) methane emissions rollbacks in the oil and gas sector, (2) relaxed fuel economy vehicle standards, (3) deferential energy efficiency appliance testing and (4) a finding that scrapped the basis for Obama-era mercury controls on power plants

3.  Places a temporary moratorium on oil and gas activity in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and directs agencies to consider restoring certain national monument boundaries.

4.  Establishes an interagency working group on the social cost of greenhouse gases and tasks it with publishing a cost of carbon within 30 days for agencies to use in rule-making

5.  Revokes the Keystone XL Pipeline permit

6.  Revokes most Trump administration executive orders related to the energy sector.

That was day one.  We also rejoined the Paris climate accords week one that sets the energy direction of this country for decades to come.  How the fuck do you expect the legacy energy companies to respond to this?  Invest in more capacity to address shortages and sky-high prices?  Think again.  They'll squeeze us for every penny they can while they can.

So Liberals just stop your disingenuous hypocritical bullshit claiming these price increases are due to the booming economy, speculators, Donald Trump or the Boogie Man and there’s nothing the administration can do to stop it.  They fucking caused it.   This IS your agenda.  Embrace and own the record price increases in the energy sector.  Skyrocketing carbon based energy prices will cause us to use far less carbon based energy and according to you it solves the 'existential climate crisis'.  Who cares if it also causes widespread suffering for average Americans? You can maybe still drive your Tesla or Prius...or ride your bike to work...if the supply chain doesn't completely break down.  But that's an issue for another day.  In the meantime let's hope it isn't a cold winter.
