Get your vaccine sooner using this one weird trick!

Boiler, if you want to serve as Trump's white knight, that's your problem.

You provided NO proof that Oregon is getting its "fair share," simply because you did no research to find out what that "fair share" was or is. Therefore, your statement is meaningless.

It's very simple to find that out, though. When the first two vaccines were approved, the federal government promised a given number of doses over a given timetable. Based on those promises, Oregon authorities set up a vaccine prioritization system: healthcare and other essential workers, people 65 or older, then the rest of the population. Then, only 40% of what was promised arrived. The shortfall in vaccines means that now, only people 80 or older are being vaccinated.

The Biden administration is slowly fixing this Trump screwup, which is why the numbers look relatively OK now. But if not for Trump, we'd be able to vaccinate all seniors at this point, and begin vaccinating the general population in mid-April.

Trump botched all this. Trump didn't give a shit. Trump didn't do his job. Trump has killed tens of thousands of people who would have survived had we not had an incompetent narcissist in office. You may continue to worship him if you choose.

Kevin, the link that I posted allowes one to find how many doses each state has receieved.  It also shows how many people in each state who are eligible to receive the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines............these are people over 18 years of age.

Do a touch of leg work, and you will confirm what I already have.  Oregon, New York, California and other Liberal states are all getting their fair share.  They are getting no more per capita than Texas, West Virginia, Indiana to name a few.

Going through life in such a hateful way must be tedious for you.

The good news is the end is in sight.    I have bittersweet feelings about it.   I'm glad the virus will be conquered...but I'm not looking forward to going back to the office.  I've really got used to this whole "work at home" thing.

My alarm clcok has been turned off since last March and I'm  saving a ton of money.    I have bacon and eggs for breakfast every day and its cheaper than my old habit of getting a bagel and coffee at Panera  on the way to work.    Same dynamic  with lunch.

PJ, I have read and heard discussions about this very thing.   Business is seeing that operations can be done just as efficiently, and perhaps more efficiently from home.  Certainly not every business but some.  It is possible that the working world will eventually see major changes in this way, less space needed (office, parking); employees spend less on car maintenance, gas, etc.; less traffic on the road?  My brother does both, some days from home, some at the office; it lets him get the Panara bagel now and then but also breakfast (or lunch) with the wife some days.  Breaks up the routine, better for morale.  He has a quota of work (reports, etc.) to be done which is measured at the workplace.  But if he needs a morning dental appointment on a given day he can do it without the hassle of begging for the time off.  As long as he gets the work done.

You posted an unfounded and baseless opinion as to what constitutes a state's "fair share"--and then you provided a link to an article that doesn't answer that question at all.

Going through life as a boot-licking Trump lackey must be a real joy for you.

And you misspelled "liberal."

Hey, I found another one weird trick! I agreed to help two of my neighbors get stuck with some Pfizer juice, one who just turned 90. I planned on using semi-gee-whiz technology by having a Chrome extension auto-refresh the appointment site and also I would ping the site for changes every five minutes.

But that wasn't the one weird trick. Instead I woke up at 4:00 AM - call of nature - and thought I'd just log on to the appointment site. Voila, lots of appointments available. So the early bird got the...well you get it. Now maybe my neighbors won't kick off too soon, which might really hurt real estate values.

Kevin, most people agree with the federal government program to give all states equal numbers of vaccine doses on a per capita basis.  In other words, a state with 2X eligible people get twice the vaccines doses vs a state with X eligible people.

Would Kevin be kind enough to tell us why he disagrees with this vaccine distribution policy.  Also, would Kevin next explain why Oregon's per capita "fair share" should be more than, say Texas' fair share.

I'm fine with the policy as it is, under the Biden administration. I disagree with whatever botched clusterfuck policies existed under the Trump administration. So don't put words in my mouth--that's something you really, really LUVVVVV to do!

Can Boiler tell us why he believes in killing as many people as possible so we can achieve herd immunity? Can Boiler tell us why he supports the Trump insurrectionists? Can Boiler tells us why Black people are "rioters" but white people are "freedom fighters"?

You're the one who keeps bleating about "fair share," not me. There's no set definition of that concept.

For instance--with a limited supply of vaccine doses, shouldn't they first go to those states with significant vulnerable populations? You also seem to not understand that what constitutes "eligible people" varies from one state to another. But I'm tired of arguing with someone who doesn't even understand the subject.

Once again kevin is unable to answer a question; this one on what he thinks what was wrong with President Trump's plan?

What does kevin think of cuomo for lying about how many people died in NY nursing homes?

If the NY, Ca, Il, NJ & Ct lockdowns are so good why aren't they in the top 5 for per capita?

Once again, Kevin doesn't know how many vaccine doses his state is getting, but he's certain that Trump screwed his state and other Liberal states are getting screwed.  I provided Kevin a link where he can learn this information, but Kevin is unwilling to learn the truth.

How the hell would states agree on ranking what states have the most vulnerable populations?  Nope, that idea doesn't work for very obvious logisical reasons.  Kevin's plan would be certain to generate lawsuits and delays.

Can I answer that one? Cuomo has always been a steaming pile of crap on any number of issues. New York liberals have long been opposed to him.

And New York City tends to have lots of virus transmission because they have 27,000 people per square mile, and millions of them are forced to use elevators and subways on a daily basis. tom, I don't want to strain your brain cells, but do you think, maybe, that might increase the transmission of disease?

Your tireless efforts as a Trump warrior are being duly noted and a place is reserved for you in Trump Valhalla.

I will not honor you with conversation unless and until you cease your ugly and stupid habit of saying "Kevin says.." or "Kevin believes..." followed by something I never said. In fact, Boiler, you're lying through your teeth, because I explicitly said I didn't know why Oregon and other states got shorted during the Trump administration. You read that. You're lying now.

How would states agree? Using census data and CDC guidelines. DUH!

No more discussion with you until you break your habit of lying about what I've said.
