Well, he ran away when I asked him to provide some facty facts supporting his "Fauci was wrong 98% of the time" claim--so I sense a theme here. He says "I can't help you with that" when challenged.

I really don't get the nut-right's antipathy to Fauci. Is it simply because pouty little Trump always hated it when Fauci gave/appeared at a press conference and diverted attention from His Orangeness?

Are you just covering up the fact that you can't prove your ridiculous claims about Fauci? Because the adult way to resolve that would be to say, "OK, I was exaggerating," not to say, "DAWWWWWK! Put up yore dukes!!"

Since when is a boxing match a fistfight?  You really do know nothing about sports but you've proven that many times before.  

I only offer that up when people open their big mouths and start calling people cowards or whatever.  

Fauci is a total hack.  You know that as well as I do.  He'd still have the country shut down if it was up to him.  It DID NOTHING when we did do it.  Anybody with a brain figured that would be the case.  

Of course you realize that criticizing an action with no way of knowing what would have happened had the action not been taken is...breathtakingly stupid, right? Well, maybe you don't. Many people resented the lockdowns. I personally would have resented getting sick much more. And yes, I realize that I probably would have survived either way. That could be used as a "reason" to, say, not wear a seat belt or not wear a hard hat in a construction zone. I'll probably be perfectly OK, right? (BONK)

Similarly, I doubt that you're missing my point that even talking about settling disputes with...physical altercations, if you like, is shamefully childish.

Put me in the camp of definitely resenting the lockdowns and closing schools for over a year.  There was so much more damage done doing that.  

Childish or not, it sure would be fun though.  

The outcome from pretending the virus was a liberal hoax (or whatever the Mother Tucker gang was saying at the time) would have been far worse. Those who survived, or didn't lose family or friends, said, "It was harmless, what was the big deal." People quite often form their perspectives from their own personal experiences and don't realize that those experiences may be atypical.

Closing schools may or may not have been an error. I think it was prudent. Conservitard pundit fuckfaces focused on the kids, claiming (correctly) that the risk to them was minimal. But it wasn't about protecting the kids--it was about protecting their parents (as the kids could still easily be carriers, though immune themselves) and their teachers. Not to mention bus drivers, custodians, etc. etc. The extra death toll would have been in the tens of thousands. I think home schooling little Johnny was worth it to avoid that. Yes, harm was done. But we couldn't avoid harm, and chose the consequence with the lesser sickness and death.

It's not unlike all the kerfuffle about pandemic relief and all the horrible horrible INFLAYSHUN it "caused." Even if you completely accept that RepubliQ/conservitard propaganda argument, would the massive loss of jobs and closing of hundred of thousands of small businesses have been any better for the economy?
