Have you gotten your payment?

I assume that everyone here is eligible.

Checking with eight friends, one has gotten the payment, via direct deposit; the rest have not.

In the last three weeks, the IRS has changed the time frame for when people should expect the money. Now, they're saying that people who didn't submit their banking info on their 2018 or 2019 tax returns, but the government has that info from somewhere else, such as SSI, will see direct deposits late next week. They also said that checks would start to be mailed the week after next.

This represents about three weeks later than they originally said this would happen.

I'm curious--they say it will take 20 weeks to get everybody a check. Couldn't they hire a few thousand people from our present army of unemployed to speed things up?

Also, I wonder---are people without a bank account or a fixed address, such as the homeless, simply SOL?

It seems logical that people with no fixed address or a bank account will be SOL. Any sane person can comprehend that fact, which leaves Kevin out. Once again, Kevin railes about the lack of instantaneous gratification for this free money and he wants to know who is at fault ( of course it will be President Trump) and why havn't thousands of other people( notice he did not include himself there) been hired to "speed things up". Kevin is never happy, for being happy would ruin his day and he would have nothing to say - what a pleasant thought.

Too bad you don't live in Kentucky. The whole state gets billions in free shit, courtesy of mostly Blue States.

He lives in Indiana but they are a taker not a maker state too.

Not yet.

They keep saying they'll send it to the bank where the IRS sent your refund for 2018 or 2019.  Well, I paid both of those years,  no refund deposited.  But my fed annuity is directly deposited monthly, so why so hard?  I wrote to our Congressman on his web site, got a reply in 2 days, should be getting it (not because of anything he did, but he had updated information.  That IRS "find my payment" or whatever was no help.  It has been revised but I haven't tried it since the revision.

I don't recall getting the one before...which year was that?  Maybe $50?

Nasty shit from Stalker is an inevitability. He can't control himself.

There's a real disparity in who's gotten it and who hasn't. When the check-mailing phase is reached, they say they'll disburse it based on AGI (2018/19), lowest first. So the people who are hurting the most will get it first.

I don't need it, but I have a destination for it. My nephew, who is functionally blind, is having eye surgery in three weeks, which is supposed to improve his condition. Due to some bizarre insurance coding, not all of the procedure is covered. His out of pocket expenses will be $2100. His check and my check will cover that.

Thank you, Democrats!
