I got mine in the mail on 4/30/2020.
My tax guy files for me every year and for the last (5) I was not taxed.
I claimed $31 K for the last of 3 years,gross.
The $1,200 check was dated 4/26/2020.
It goes into my bank,by mail.I do have direct deposit and the IRS knows me.
Rainy day money.I'm due for a cataract procedure in 2020.Not sure about my co-payment.

They keep saying they'll send it to the bank where the IRS sent your refund for 2018 or 2019. Well, I paid both of those years, no refund deposited. But my fed annuity is directly deposited monthly, so why so hard? I wrote to our Congressman on his web site, got a reply in 2 days, should be getting it (not because of anything he did, but he had updated information. That IRS "find my payment" or whatever was no help. It has been revised but I haven't tried it since the revision.

Did you give them your bank info on your return(s) even though you weren't getting a refund?
Supposedly, there's a portal on their website where you can upload your banking information---but it doesn't work.
It's probably going to be a check in the mail for most of us. No biggie, unless, of course, you're already hurting.
