Kevin apparantly didn't tell us that he has a problem with rich NY giving money to the poor Mississippi.  I must have misunderstood him.  Why didn't he just say that I got that wrong?

When you pump extra billions of dollars into the economy of Mississippi it helps the economy of Mississippi. Seems kind of obvious doesn't it. Does that help poor Mississippians and middle-class Mississippians and wealthy Mississippians? Yup.

No more Red State bailouts!

You got that wrong.

I said that blue states give money (indirectly) to red states. I did not say that I objected to that process. I said that I objected to people like Moscow Mitch complaining about "blue state bailouts" when blue states have been bailing out red states for decades.

The red states contain the majority of stupid people, and stupid people tend to make less money and don't plan their lives very well, which means they need help. That help often comes via federal societal aid. However, being stupid, they vote for Trump and conservatives, going directly against their own interests.

I do not, however, object to wealthier, intelligent blue states helping poorer, stupid red states. After all, we're all Americans. Many of us have relatives who repeatedly screw up their own lives. We help them anyway. I want us to keep on helping out Tucky Buckford and Clem Cornpone for similar reasons.

What I object to is red state politicians painting a false picture of who pays in more than they take out and vice versa.
