I think if someone wants to be here badly enough to risk everything to come, that alone should be a major qualification. It was the only qualification for well over a century. If you're not carrying a disease and you're not a criminal, you should be given a chance. (And no, crossing the border without permission doesn't make you a criminal, any more than say, getting a speeding ticket.)

About 3/4 of us wouldn't be here if our ancestors hadn't been given a chance.

Lam believes in open borders (no other country has open borders). So in his mind the hell with laws, legal & illegal immigration is the same thing.

Well, since it's not against Mexican law for a US citizen to simply cross the border into Mexico (pandemic restrictions aside), without even needing to present identification, your question is stupid, uninformed, and meaningless.
