Mark, how did you know that they were holding back positive numbers?
We obviously need more government workers. The ones that we have suck, so more will solve the problem. I'm guessing that you're going to tell me that you got your test with private workers. Then who's pulling the strings...........private or public?
You're confusing the workers who administer the tests and process the data with those who collate and report that data. The former are front-line health care workers. The latter, in Mark's state at least, are hard-line deluded Trump supporters who have been pressured for months to make things look rosier than they actually are. Y'know, so everyone would vote for the Orange Virus. Didn't work.
Of course, I only have a couple or three standards of comparison. My state of Oregon and friends who live in California and Washington state. In all three, we've gotten our most recent test results in 24 hours or less. Contrast that with reporting lags in Trumper states like Mark's Indiana.
Of course, one reason to process the tests and provide the results as quickly as possible is that a negative test becomes essentially meaningless after just a few days. You aren't really safe if you find out that the test you took eight days ago came back negative.
But that's just that silly ol' science, which in Trumper states, is like atheism in the Bible Belt.
