Increasing our defense budget--why was that a good thing? I thought conservitards were against gummint spending? (Of course, the reality is that they'll piss away money like drunken sailors on stuff they approve of.)
Ronnie Raygun bought lotsa tanks and planes and manly man GUNZ so we could stand up to them Rooskies. In order to pay for that, he slashed social welfare programs. So, tens of thousands of people were sick, miserable, and died because Ronnie wanted to be a cowboy.
Of course, most of those people were poor, black, Hispanic, and Democrat, so maybe that was his intention all along. Guns before butter, like many other fascist dictatorships.

This is an actual quote from biden. As gas prices soar he wants the people to eat cake or in this case buy an electric car. However there are numerous problems with electric cars.
There aren't enough electric cars, now or in the future. Future production depends on batteries from China.
The electric cars that are available have limited range, there are a limited number of charging stations & take time to charge.
Most importantly they are expensive. With 64% of the people living paycheck to paycheck now As inflation heats up, 64% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck people can't afford an electric car (avg cost $56.5k).
Stupid Tommie-poo's argument is like saying in 1990 that we should stop making personal computers because the average person couldn't afford one. Or for that matter, that we should have stopped building cars in 1908.
