I'll ask PJ again. Is CVS wrong in their assessment of the neighborhood violence?

I'll answer again...your CVS artivcle was correct. Your summary of it was not. Unless the text of that artvcile changed between Monday and yesterday you lied about it on Monday.
And you lied about regular black violence on Oak Street beach and the bike path. Which is why you suddenly dont want to talk about that now that I quoted your own words.
What else do you want to deny saying that I can cut-n-paste for you ?

So PJ is agreeing that my friend's neighborhood is, in fact, getting dangerous? Enough robberies, drug deals and violence for CVS to plan a store closure?
property crimes dont make a neighborhood dangerous. Its an attribute of city life. And I know you agree with me which is why you felt inclined to fabricate stories about regular mob violence to make your point.
(Oh - And you just lied again about CVS closing)

The CVS in my friends neighborhood is not new. There are no new CVS stores in Old Town, which is my friend's neighborhood. The CVS on Clark street in Old Town was planning to close until local neighbors, a local businessman, and a city alderman got together with a plan. Zero help on this issue came from Larry Lightfood and friends. This CVS was planning to close due the the violence. I suspect that things won't improve, and it'll close in the next year or two.
For some reason, PJ won't admit that there's a crime problem in Old Town. My friend agrees that there's a crime issue. CVS agrees that there's a crime issue. PJ just dodges the issue.
And for the tenth time for the stupid Libs, I never said that the CVS on Clark closed. In fact, I posted an article about the planned closure that was addressed with zero help from Larry Lightfoot.
The neighborhood is getting worse fast, and this CVS will likely close in the next year or two.
New article on crime in Old Town............the place that PJ assures has little crime.

I'm sure the Liberals on this site will argue that this isn't an article on crime, but instead a discussion to address crime in Old Town, that in fact, doesn't exist.

Fantastic. The do-nothing police are at it again.
First you conceded Oak Street Beach is no longer unsafe because the do-nothing police made it safe.
Then you conceded the CVS is not closing down because the do-nothing police are doing something to make it safe
And here you have another example of the do-nothing police in fact doing things to stop crime.
Gee wilikers - Those do-nothing police seem to be doing alot of something. I guess we can add your depiction of them as "do-nothing" to your list of dishonest claims.

Those arrested are rarely charged.
By the way, does the guy shot to death in front of CVS classify as violence? How about the armed roberies?
