I'd do some fact checking on that whole "Trump withdrew because of intelligence sources reporting Iran's enrichment activities.".
Trump campaigned in 2016 on killing the Iran Nuclear deal on day 1 because it was the worst deal made in the history of mankind, or something. Iran by all accounts was complying with the deal right up until Trump threw it out.
Ever since that time Republicans and FOX News have gone on a propoganda-hisotry-rewriting exercise trying to say it was Iran who cheated. Thats complete BS.
I did check and it's true that the IAEA ( the verifying body) and US / Israeli intelligence reported that Iran complied with most of the tenets of the agreement up until US withdrawal via Trump in 2018. Exceptions were the development and testing of ballistic missiles which was also supposedly an element of the original JCPOA agreement. Trump also disliked the original deal because of time limitations ( some aspects of nuclear development were limited to a ten year time limit, ie 2025, after which they could resume nuclear development activities). Additionally, Israeli PM Netanyahu presented evidence that there were secretive efforts by Iran to continue nuclear development activities prior to 2018.
I'll concede that the bulk of Iran's violation of JCPOA terms happened after the US withdrawal in 2018. The question remains though..can we trust them? Do you trust them?
