Kevin, that's exactly right. He doesn't understand that taking the 5th in a civil proceeding has consequences. Charles look that up yourself. It isn't my opinion. It is the same standard that everyone else in this country is held to in a civil proceeding.
The funny thing these guys don't get is the 5th amendment worked exactly as it should have in this case. It kept Trump from having to incriminate himself and face prison time based upon his own sworn statements. But the price that's going to be paid for that is conceeding the facts in the civil case. Trump may loose his entire business in NY for those concessions. So you have to ask yourself why would Trump put his business at risk?

His lawyers are giving him good advice. It's damage control. If he tries too hard to save his New York scams, that could leave him wide open to federal prosecution.
I think that he could very well be planning an "exit strategy." Maybe Vladimir has a cushy dacha all ready for his little Donchik. The DOJ should revoke the scumbag's passport NOW.
