You DO need such approval, whether or not the process is called that. Sure, you can file and see what happens. But why split hairs, other than to prolong a fairly stupid argument? Remember, you asked why I continue to file a Schedule C. I afforded you the courtesy of a reply. Then you devolved into semantics and of course, PackerFucker shat all over everything.

I won't make that mistake again. 

Does the "approval" come before or after your file your return?  After, of course.  That is where you lost me with "approval."  You made it sound like you had to clear some hurdle before filing and using schedule C.

That was pretty much the case, from an informal standpoint. I pulled together everything I needed before I filed C for the first time, and it was a tedious process. But my reward was that while I got letters from the IRS, I was never audited.

I'm only trying to understand why you don't ever acknowledge your prior posts used to show a current post to be false. You never respond with anything other than a filthy name-calling rant. Your prolific postings are what I'm using to show that you're saying things that are far more likely to be false than true. I'm only using what you've posted as facts about your life.
