Actually, I don't even own a teevee, and I rarely stream stuff. So I don't sit around all day watching news, sitcoms, teevee dramas, or even the sports teams that temporarily reside in my city. Mostly, I read. You know, books and news and feature stories from sources that have built up their credibility for years.

Rarely, I'll stream something live if I think it's worth it.

What I DON'T do is review something that I didn't even watch. You ought to try it, Jerry.

Oh, and Jerry, as far as getting out of the house:

So far this summer I spent a couple of weeks in Dublin, Istanbul, Greece, and New York. Plus I spent five days at the Baha Mar in the Bahamas and two days at the Cosmpolitan. This month I'll be briefly staying at the Wynn. I have the Atlantis in the Bahamas booked for four day in late December, and in March I'll be on a seven-day MSC Cruise out of Miami visiting Montego Bay Jamaica, the Cayman Islands, and some resort town in Mexico that I can't recall.

And as far as nightlife is concerned, this year I have seen Keith Urban, James Taylor, the Doobie Brothers, 3Ice Hockey (look it up), Morrissey (not a fan!), and even the Extravaganza show at Ballys (it was a comp). I had tickets to Aerosmith but unfortunately, somebody was in rehab. I gave away my Shania Twain tickets for tonight, but tomorrow is Pat Benatar at the Palms. Later this month I'm going to Jagged Little Pill - the Broadway touring show, and Demi Lovato. October will be Rod Stewart and Miranda Lambert, and on November 4 it's the Who.

But you're right Jerry. Other than that I just sit around.

I don't own a TV. I currently have a fair amount of time on my hands, because I'm recovering from some minor surgery and am supposed to take it easy.

Normally, I'd be traveling this time of year, as I've done every summer. But I decided to not fight the ridiculous crowds, pay the high prices, and put up with the shitty service. October and November will be my travel months. I'm going to go to warm places after they cool off a bit and before the hordes arrive.

As far as this weekend goes, I'm definitely NOT going anywhere--the crowds will be epic, and so will the prices.

That was more for Vegas Turd and Kevin than you MP.  I was just asking.  You do seem to have a life outside this forum if all that is true and I have no reason to not believe you.  Plus you've made mention that losing any connection to this forum wouldn't destroy your life like it would for Turd and Kevin.

Nothing quite like the irony of someone making a snide remark about someone else doing the same exact thing they're doing themselves.

What's the story with the most flagrant example of those guys who are "just a bunch of old geezers with nothing to do?"

The poster's LVA name is/was something like David Miller. I'm not sure I have his first name right. The time stamps on his posts indicated that he did nothing but refresh the Kitchen Sink until Kevin posted an insult directed at him to which Miller instantly replied in kind.

Now I don't see his posts anywhere and I don't see any references to his being AWOL? Did I miss something? I don't check in here every day. Did he get banned?

He's made frequent trips to Vegas recently (or so he tells us). When he gets his ass kicked, he comes here and vents, either taking a break during his trip or after he comes home. So if he's in Vegas now but for once not getting thoroughly rogered, that would explain his absence. Good for him if he's winning for a change.
