President Biden

I can't disagree with you on his record.  I think he did a lot better than I ever thought he would do.

If I give you $100M, you would be worth $3.2B now as well.  Just about anyone would after 50 years.

Particularly if you've figured out how to be a consummate con man and thief. Your business will do a LOT better if you can manage to dodge paying your bills.

If you, from an honest accounting standpoint, consider all of the money he's owed people and never paid back as liabilities/accounts payable, his net worth is around MINUS $2 billion (according to one estimate of the total of Trump businesses' unpaid bills since 1990).

To put in another way and to build on what you said, if you or I had managed to not pay for rent, utilities, insurance, medical costs, or food for the last 50 years, we'd probably be rich. Trump's savvy business expertise is being a welsher.

Only if he plays those games well, and doesn't have any other "leaks" such as an affinity for the craps or blackjack tables. Plus...given his temperament and manner, I doubt that he can handle a losing streak and stay in the boat. My hunch is, he goes minus $300 at the Double Bonus machine and then rushes over to the crap table to try to make it back. Then he screams at the stickman and calls him a liar when he says, "Seven-out."

I only evaluate a President by what he tried to get done (and how skillful he was in doing it, factoring in things like inherent opposition) as well as whether he is/was, yes, a good man. Blaming and/or giving credit to a President for the "spot" the country is/was during his presidency is idiotic. The US President has very little influence on events--more than any other one man does, but still, there's not much he can bring about or significantly change all by himself. Particularly if he has a cadre of implacable foes who care only about thwarting him and can screw everything up with just a little push.

I think the country is in a better spot than it was during the Trump presidency, because at least a good man is leading us and we're not the laughingstock of the world. And yes, inflation gas prices grooming CRT transgender athletes SOOOOOOOCIALISM belch grunt snort. Beats the crap out of 2020.

We are definitely the laughingstock of the world right now!  But we can agree to disagree on that.

That gambling jab was actually kind of funny.  I'll give you that one.  But if you play solid BJ or even craps, it is pretty small house edge obviously.  I just find it mindless.  I get so bored with it.  I like VP but I mostly enjoy poker.  It just moves slower obviously.

Ask Saudi Arabia if the world is laughing at us. OPEC+ ignores him, Russia invades the Ukraine, & China is threatening Taiwan.

He is not a nice guy, just look at the way he talks to people.

Lowest rate of inflation of any of the industrialized countries...funneling massive amounts of aid to prop up Ukraine (and save the rest of Europe)...and we're still a place people want to move to and visit. American products are sold in every country on earth. We're doing fine. But the RepubliQ narrative, of course, is gloom and doom. Everything's horrible, but vote for us and everything will be wonderful. Belch grunt snort.

I enjoy poker as well, but the trouble is now, the rake is so high that even an expert player can't win. Add to that the $3 or $4 "promo drop" to fund some sort of dumbass jackpot like losing with a straight flush in clubs on the night of a full moon (i.e., you'll never see that money again). It comes down to, some of the table

games--or bad VP--that are ostensibly worse might actually be less costly when the dust settles.

I feel the same way about table games, though. I make a $20 pass line bet, all I've done is toss 28 cents over my shoulder, regardless of the actual outcome. That gets old fast.

Do you think YOU'RE a "nice guy"? Just look at the way you obsessively post about Biden, dozens of times a week. You're on the brink of dementia.

Tom is concerned about the opinion of dictators.    So are all the other Putin lovers of his party.  I can't help them with that.    Nor would I want to.

for people who love democracy, data matters.

Foreign US approval jumps 15 points under Biden after collapsing under his pro-Russian predecessor

Rake is very high.  I find if I can break even playing limit or no limit poker, (I find limit more enjoyable socically at least) 70% of my profit comes from the promotions which I've already funded of course.  I try to play at rooms that DON'T have the big bad beat because, like you said, chances of me hitting one of those is a needle in a haystack.  I've hit a grand total of 1 royal playing poker now for like 15 years.  I know guys that have 8-10.  I just don't hit the big hands for promos very much.

Well, that's a statistic cherry-picking Tom would ignore.

The world was utterly disgusted when Trump managed to get his orange ass elected. Then it was further disgusted when even more people (to use the term "people" loosely) voted for him a second time. It's taken a long time for America to regain the respect it once enjoyed.

Pj - that study is a year old. Try something more current. The Brits thought so much of Biden they stuck him in the back for the Queen's funeral. Poland & other world leaders were in front of him.

What difference if Saudi Arabia & other countries are dictators. We have to do business with them & they gave him the finger about oil even when he asked for a month delay in the oil cut.  China is so impressed that they are ignoring his request not to buy Russian oil & threaten Taiwan.   Russia invaded Ukraine.

Europe is letting us carry the water in Ukraine & contribute very little to the war effort.

Actions outweigh polls.

In yesterday's fumble Biden thinks charging extra for seats with more leg room is racist. He also thinks charging extra for extra leg room seats are hidden fees, when the fees are posted.
