DonDiego, will you frequent the Broadway and 2nd street area for live music and food?

DonDiego, I used to attend a Colts vs Titans game every year with a buddy prior to his move to Huntsville, Alabama. Very nice people, and that was when we beat them twice a year for a decade.
What’s the most memorable story you can recollect in regard to someone trying your Hattie B’s hot chicken?
The most memorable was one time in our first year, a lady came into Hattie B's 9 months pregnant with her husband. She said, "I want to have this baby soon," and she had read that if she ate spicy food, it could induce labour. She of course went for our Shut the Cluck Up. We got an email a week later, she'd had her baby the very next morning and named her, Hattie.
Ref: The Heat
Poor old DonDiego will likely begin his relationship with Hattie B's somewhere in the middle of the heat-scale, . . . and maybe work his way up.
teechur and DonDiego will likely find themselves downtown occasionally sampling the restaurants and music venues. teechur is more into "country" than poor old DonDiego, . . . but DonDiego tolerates almost all types of music. They've already experienced several shows at the Grand Old Opry House.
DonDiego prefers "classical" music, . . . and teechur and he have also attended several concerts with the Nashville Symphony already. They've got tickets for a late-Summer concert comprising Beethoven's Fifth and Ninth Symphonies to be performed outdoors downtown right along the river. Beethoven's Ninth is The Bomb !
From the "DidYaKnow Files": Did you know that Beethoven's Ninth was the determining factor in deciding upon the size of the Compact Disc ? Ref: Why is a CD 74 Minutes ?

Even though there are such things as "scoville units" which measure heat uniformly on the same scale - most restaurants use their own scale so you have no idea what you are getting into.
I tried the standard "HOT" at Hattie-B's and found it to be very tolerable - Maybe a little hotter than the spicy chicken sandwich at Wendy's. Emboldened by my vicotry I tried the standard "hot" level at another establishment later that week. Pretty sure I passed out after two bites. Nevermind waterboarding - they should make terrorists eat that at Guantanimo.
In the "DidYaKnow File": The Tennessee state Capitol building places a bust of Nathan Bedford Forrest in a place of honor. You ought to go over and examine the bust and perhaps pay homage to it. You know, the man whose troops massacred surrendered northern troops at Fort Pillow because they were black or white soldiers who dared to fight along side of African-American soldiers; the man who was a traitor to the U.S. per the definition in the U.S. Constitution; and, the man who was one of the first Grand Wizards of the Klu Klux Klan.
Odd whom we choose to honor--we happen to have a bust of Abraham Lincoln in our Capitol.

You have to understand that for many, many people in Tennessee and the South, Forrest's actions at Fort Pillow make him the highest of heroes.
Our resident Trumpers, if you asked them and they answered honestly, would also tell you how much they admire that traitor and murderer. Why? Because there's one in the White House, whom they also admire, right now.

It should be noted that Nathan Bedford Forrest was a Democrat.

Yes, back in 1865 he was! And in 1893 Pabst won the blue ribbon for best beer ever.
So much for old times.
