You might want to sit this one out, kiddo. This is adult talk and you don't qualify.
Thomas says they are coming for your birth control next and he wants government in your bedroom to make sure you don't have anything other than straight missionary sex.

Funny how conservitards claim to hate BIG GUMMINT but are perfectly fine with chaining a woman to a hospital bed and forcing her to give birth.
I also find in funny how David was only able to muster the courage to return to the forum on the day women were made second class citizens by a guy who's wife was part of a coup to overthrow the government.

Yeah, not funny though, just typical.
They'll join eventually. DOnt worry. I'm sure a black person shot another black person in CHicago this week. Thats what this thread will end up being about once our resident conservative intellectuals grab hold.
I always found it puzzling that men, versus women, were the most vocal against abortion.
Is it time to invest in condom commerce?

I raised three girls. My biological daughter, 17, is still in the house. What kind of dad would I be if I didn't care about the government deeming them not fit to make their own medical decisions and crimalizing their choices? You just aren't looking in the right place to find vocal women upset about this. Try Twitter.
What I find 🤔 is that apparently old white christian males are the only ones considered fit to make reproductive healthcare decisions for women.

Why is that puzzling? It seems obvious. Men have been trying to control women since Thak and Og sat around the fire and discussed what kind of club was best to beat them with. Thak and Og now run the Republican party.
Men, fundamentally, intellectually, and biologically, don't understand what it's like to bear a child. Forcing a woman to do so against her will is a special kind of cruelty. Throughout human history, it's been much easier to be cruel or to dismiss cruelty when one has not experienced it firsthand. Most people who approved of (or at least condoned) slavery had no idea what it was like. Many dismiss racial discrimination because, well, how bad can it be. Et cetera. Et cetera. Et cetera. Man's inhumanity to man is at its worst when it's man's inhumanity to women.
There's also the religious angle. Though NO religion specifically rails against abortion to the degree that today's evangelicals do, being "pro-life" (my ass) has become an essential part of the brand. And in my life experience, men are much more inclined than women to tell others how to act and think, especially in the service of some dogma or belief. After all, what percentage of politicians/populists/demagogues/revival preachers/etc. in history have been men? 99%? More?
Men like to tell other people what to do; women are more inclined to reach accomodation and compromise. And sweet holy motherfuck, if there's one issue on which the RepubliQ male old white fart cohort is unwilling to compromise, it's this one.
