The nursing homes have staff that are trained to care for these people. Their needs were the same, coronavirus or not. They couldn't just be parked in empty buildings and left to die, if that's what you're suggesting.
Does anyone know if we are suppossed to wear masks and maintain social distancing? My understanding is we were suppossed to do those things....but the president moved his convention due to the fact that the original venue was going to enforce those protocols. And the Tulsa rally did not have those protocols.
So I guess we should ignore that stuff? I mean thats the lead our president has taken. So maybe all that medical science mumbo-jumbo was just a farce by the same people who fabricated date about climate change

Nursing home do not have doctors & the nurses & other personnel are not trained in ICU procedures.
Governor nursing home would not allow families to visit for fear of contagion, but had no problem with mandating contagious people to move in.
Cuomo sent people who had been in the hospital for over 10 days back home....because they are no longer contagious at that point. Thats according to medical experts and the basis of his decision...and it was correct. There is not one reported case of those people re-infecting their neighbors. Thats a myth started by the same people who told Tom and David about Obamagate.
The fact the political right has turned the finger pointing game into a state by state exercise only proves the lack of any national plan or leadership on this issue. While our president coordinates maskless events without social distancing he and his base complain about the spread of the virus that is predominantly spread by the example they are setting.
But this petty governor game is short term anyway. NY's cases are on the decline....Texas, FLorida, and Arizona are spiking to record highs and are quickly running out of ICU beds. Tom and David wont be finding fault with State governors when those states implode. I suspect they'll try and move on to Democrat mayors.
For the GOP finger pointing is the priority. Resolving the issue? Not so much.

Where did you get that from? People spent months in the hospital with the virus.
If it was such a great decision, why did he rescind the order?
