Good point, Tom!   You are a smart man.  Indeed,  the people who hit the ICU take months to recover.    The people who dont ...dont.   The latter group was sent home after they were deemed to recover instead of keeping them in a hospital full of other infections they were potentially vulnerable too.     Oh the humanity !

But there's lots of people like you who smush those two groups of people together into one cause ...politics.   And lets be clear, you wont be making that same argument with Florida, Texas and Arizona cause ...politics.  

Out of 50 states there are 34 who have more deaths per capita than NY in nursing homes.   And thats also in the context of NY being ground zero for the virus making landfall in the US.       

So while you are celebrating a president who mocks the protocols of stopping this disease you are mocking a governor who has knocked it down.   cause....politics.

The doctors who cleared them.  Where did you get your "months to recover before not being contagious" from?

NY has more nursing home deaths than 40 other states have in total. 

  The horror stories will be forthcoming from the retirement homes concerning the murdering of healthy retirement home residents who died because of the Cuomo mandate. Any attempt to minimize what happened and why are delusional. Apparently no one wants to stand up for those who needlessly died. 

trump's incompetence was the cause of needless American death.

The President did not mandate the decree. There were alternate, positive measures that were available. Cuomo is responsible for the murder of these people. I venture to say if your Parents or relatives had been killed because of Cuomc's dictate, you would be screaming for his head.

You see, this is the sort of thing that illustrates Tom's ignorance. He said more deaths PER CAPITA.
