@PJ...Regarding your curiosity regarding my empathy for bussed migrants, I personally wouldn't have allowed the process to approach that decision point or those locations. I'd certainly focus on the "increased border security" aspect you mentioned pertaining to the influx of migrants at the border. More efficient use of immigration funds might be funneled into extensive asylum detention facilities with a highly expedited processing protocol ( enforce a much speedier process) for judges to hear and process the cases. That has long been a huge problem, that backlog of unprocessed cases regardless of partisanship. If we look at the history of the asylum application success rates, about 37% of asylum seekers were granted successful entry in FY 2021. I don't know what the current stats are, but I'd guess they're much higher than that currently. If you're really interested in the source link regarding that stat, I can dig it up ( maybe next week, if not later ; you can find it, I'm sure..if interested *l*).
Conservative SCOTUS Justice Sam Alito offered his dissent ( from the losing side) on the very recent SCOTUS decision regarding Biden vs Texas which was just recently decided. I'd never expect you to agree with his points / arguments in that dissent..but I absolutely do ( which you might expect since you know which camp I'm in, generally speaking). But, if you want some "enemy-side opinion" pieces, here's a link to that source. It might be a lot more informative than watching Hannity for building your future argument arsenal.
