BS any organization that has policing powers are considered to be the police. That's certainly how Republicans refer to defunding the police when ICE or the Border Patrol is brought up. And in fact on some of the FBI tactical gear it says police in small print under FBI. Quit trying to weasel out of it by trying to create meaningless distinctions. Do you think a county sheriff's department doesn't count as the police?
