There are several reasons why LGBQT propaganda is being pushed forward: LGBQT promote themselves as an oppressed minority which presents a convenient entry point for governments to interfere in the sex lives of the unwashed masses. This creates a happy two-fold effect: a) Like ‘systemic racism’ Governments and corporations have another lever they can use to influence and control people’s thoughts, words and behavior. b) LGBQT liberation can also be used to punish nation-states unwilling to conform to the new liberal world order, hence the ubiquity of the rainbow flag (note how LGBQT rhetoric and the flag itself is become more war-like). Groups that disagree with LGBQT propaganda can be Othered. When groups are ‘Othered’ their viewpoints conveniently become delegitimized and therefore not worth listening to. LGBQT uses the ‘Pied Piper’ effect. It lures adolescents away from the protective circle of family by promising sexual liberation (sex and sexual identity being a great concern to many teenagers), while defanging parents by labelling them as hopelessly out-of-touch and unenlightened bigots. People that are psychosexually confused experience a form of arrested development. They have little sense of self and as such are more obedient and susceptible to suggestion. Because the state affirms their sexual identity, LGBQT adherents enter into a co-dependent relationship with the government. Government is good because it protects their interests, therefore anything that increases government control must also be good. For an example of this see how many LGBQT groups reacted to issues such as vaccine mandates and Black Lives Matter protests. They mostly fall in line with the ‘approved’ narrative. Population control: the promotion of same-sex activities and self-castration decreases undesirable populations. The promotion of abortion also serves this function. LGBQT groups (and others) serve to deflect blame from those who are pushing these nefarious agendas. Like many activist believers they are in fact ‘useful idiots’ working for a regime that will eventually come to oppress them. We already see how this is being carried out by the ‘T’ against the ‘LGB’ part of the movement.

The what companies to invest in is an interesting point. Private investment companies have decided it is good to have investment options that are, for lack of a better word, green-friendly. They have been a runaway success. Now Red States are trying to ban the option of having green-friendly investment options. This is the exact opposite of what you claim. Conservatives are dictating, by passing laws, that we can't have green-friendly investment options for those that want them because conservatives don't like them.

Yes, during a pandemic they mandated vaccines for people that worked in certain fields like the medical profession. How terrible lol. When I started grade school many moons ago my parents were given a list of mandated vaccines I had to have before I would be allowed to enroll in public school in a conservative state. It was an entirely reasonable thing back in the early 1970s and it is an entirely reasonable thing now.
The government has never mandated what gets labeled disinformation. That was always left up to the discretion of private businesses. Private business labels information disinformation because it keeps them from getting sued like FOX News, News Max and other conservative media outlets that intentionally spread disinformation that often leads to multi-million dollar lawsuits for defamation.
The government has always decided which research gets funded by government dollars so that is nothing new.
On the other hand in some red states...
1. If you are female you can be forced to bear the child of your rapist, forced into financially supporting the child to adulthood and finally forced into an 18-year relationship where you have to regularly deal with your rapist in the child's upbringing.
2. If you are a teenage female the state of Florida has mandatory period tracking if you participate in any sports or other extracurricular activities to make sure you don't flee the state to get an abortion.
3. In a lot of red states if you are pregnant but the child isn't viable you are forced to risk your own life to carry the baby anyway. It is incredibly sick and cruel to force birth upon a child that has no chance of survival and will only know pain and misery during its brief life. And there have been a lot of cases like these popping up in the news.
4. You are forbidden to mention that gay people simply exist in school.
5. You can not be taught about Jim Crow laws and the Civil Rights movement because it might offend some white snowflake child.
6. It is mandated that you be taught a false history that the US government was never a racist institution.
7. Books can be banned and are regularly banned at the request of just one loan-conservative snowflake in the community.
8. Dressing in Drag is considered an obscene performance.
9. The state government should dictate what medical treatment is appropriate for your teenager, not you, your family, your doctor and your teenager.
10. If you are a private business and you don't like a policy the government is enacting you can expect to be singled out for punishment by the state government for simply publically disagreeing with the policy.
11. Blue cities had their governing of local elections taken away from them and given to the state government while every red county and city government gets to keep running their own elections.
12. Elected officials, often minorities, can be illegally removed from their elected positions by using red state police forces because conservates in the state simply don't like them.
13. Election results in blue areas can be thrown out simply because conservatives don't like the results.
14. They think someone that has been charged with 34 felonies related to election fraud is an appropriate person to lead the county. Not to mention by the time it is all said and done Trump may face as many as 100+ felony charges most of which are offenses committed in furtherance of election fraud. Yet, they still think it is perfectly appropriate for such an unrepentant criminal to hold the highest office in the land who has promised to ignore the parts of the Constitution he doesn't like on day one of his Presidency.
We are rapidly devolving into fascism, and it is your party that is ushering it in. Don't worry Tom I can see the writing on the wall and that is why I am planning for my retirement to be outside the USA. I suggest you invest in some Jack Boots and practice your goose-stepping. Mark, please provide proof of a US based government attempting to disallow investment in "green" technology. You won't because you can't.
Some are are attempting to clarify that companies must invest only in businesses which they believe will increase investor's financial worth. This means that they must ignore their Liberal bias, and only work to increase the investor's financial portfoleo. This has always been mandated, and this is a reminder of this mandate.
A perfect example of a Liberal clusterfuck that we hope to avoid is Silicon Valley Bank. A large percentage of their investments were in "Cleantech" and "Green Technologies". They were so hell bent on their radical ideology, that they failed to create value for their investors. This company has failed and is now gone. This is exactly what companies should not be doing.

If conservatives were really concerned about protecting children they would ban them from church because that's where grooming and molestation most frequently occur. There has never been a case that I know of where a drag queen sodomized little boys but there are an awful lot of cases where they have been sodmized by a priest, preacher or someone else affiliated with a church. And just be extra safe let's treat Republican House members as sex offenders given that their former speaker sodomized a hell of a lot of teen boys.
Governor Abbott is "abnormal" - which is to say there is something about his physical condition that is different from most people.
