That free wind power sure is expensive.

Yes he is - but he will argue that point with you...

Stupid Tommie-poo lives in an urban environment, so he can be forgiven for not knowing what clearcutting is and how prevalent it is in the West.

Kevin has no wood.  I'm not shocked.

Kevin assures us the California electricity costs have increased 80% faster than the balance of the country because wind and solar power is so cheap.

Kevin, explain this.

I can.  THeir electric company got sued for billions of dollars due to the record forrest fires caused by their power lines and massively parched forrests.   .   And now they are spending bilions more dollars burying their electrical lines so it doesnt happen again.   And California citizens get all of those costs passed onto them.

So ....   you can thank fossil fuel induced climate change for that...And the 100 billion in damage the Canadian fires are doing now.

But as already said - Boilerman conveniently leaves all of that out of his math when he calculates the cost of energy.    Because Green House gases are a hoax or something.

Are you talking about the high voltage lines that are required to move solar and wind power long distances or the high voltage lines that Liberal policies have mandated via their importated electricy policies?

Once again we have a Liberal who complains about the results of the very policy that they voted for.

SOrry  - I forget.  Fossil fuel plants use magic to transmit electricity.,  Good Point, Boilerman !

And here's a fun fact - solar panels on peopes'  roofs dont need power lines to travel to their use point.

And I guess we'll just give you a pass on your completely dishonest description of California's power sources because its just par for the course when it comes your baseless posts that you never back up with data.

Another example that the problem is management not climate change

1.  Fossil fuel plants are built near electricity consumption.  Solar and wind are build far away, and require many redundant hyper high volate power lines.  These start more fires.

2.  Because of Liberal policies, California imports 37% of it's electricy from other states and one to two other countries, depending on who you talk to  This again requires hyper high voltage long distrance transport........which of course is the most likely to start fires.

3.  California imports plenty of hyper expensive "green energy" from other states.  Not only is it expensive to produce, it's expensive to transport, and the transport from long distances starts more fires.

Yep, once again, we have a Liberal complaining about the ramifications of Liberal policies.  Next, PJ will complain about Chicago violence.  Um, sorry....it's all wonderful there.

1) Boilerman's is full of shit.      He thinks the solar panels on your roof are farther away than the coal plant in the next county.   And he refutes his own point when he says power plants are built close to consumption while simultaneously pointing out they import accross state lines.   I cant help him with that.  I'll just point and laugh.

Power plants are not built near consumption.  They are built near the source of fuel.   Thats why the states that export the most electricity are near coal reserves and oil refineries.

I wont ask Bouilerman how Pensylvania's fossil fuel electricity gets exported (because its not by power lines obviously)  I'm sure he's got a friend who can give us the real story.

2)Boilerman is full of shit.    California is the biggest state.   So this is another instance where our resident conservatives pretend they dont know what "per capita" means and why its relevant when you compare California to South Dakota.

 3) Boilerman is full of shit.   Most of California's imported electricty comes from hydroelectric sources ....thats the Hoover Damn and others of its ilk.   And thats the cheapest electricity in the country.

California's imported electricty

You ever notice how I back up my posts with real data and Boilerman doesnt?  Thats how you know he's full of shit.
