This logical fallacy is a favorite of you and Boilerman; it's a false dilemma, there are more than two options. Are you purposely using this technique, or do you truly believe these are the only options? Either way, it makes your opinions suspect.

You guys can debate federal spending and who's at fault, I'll restate my point one more time and get out of the way.

There are at least a dozen nations that have the ability to destroy Israel right now. Why is that our business?

The only option, therefore, is to use diplomacy.

Wow...how unbelievably stupid...there are 20 million more people in the US now than there were in 2019 (approximately, obviously). So lowering "social welfare spending" to 2019 levels would be about a 6% overall cut in services.
