I did some math as well. If somehow all people who die could be immediately eliminated from the SNAP rolls--as in, THAT SAME DAY, the 0.7% unauthorized payments would not happen. So the actual savings would be .00032% of the budget.
Those savings would be enough to pay for nine seconds of Trump's current war. Or one fortieth of one of those precision guided boomity booms that Trump used to blow up a school.
Definitely worth the effort. Although--the Turd administration is actually not doing anything to assist states with auditing SNAP recipient rolls.
